The centuries old annual cultural trade fair, Vrishchika Vanibham, is conducted here by the family in the month of November (15th-17th) every year. This fair is the only one of its kind still conducted by a family.
Set in the midst of the lush green rubber plantations, Thelliyoor is a peaceful and beautiful village famous for its temple art form of Padayani.
Yoga practice, activities of Samskarika Kala Kendra,and Ayurvedic therapies are the added attractions of this stay.
During the monsoons (June-December) trek to one of the most beautiful natural waterfalls, Aruvikuzhi, and enjoy the nature's shower.

Enjoy the hospitality of a family in an agricultural village. Mr.K.P.Nair and Mrs.Vijayalekshimi parents of Sindu Nayar [hostess of Tulasidalam] live here enjoying the village life . They belong to one of the famous business groups in Kerala .
Pallipad is an agricultural village in the district of Alapuzha .The village is serene and beautiful with vast stretches of paddy fields and waterways. Farmers still use the traditional methods of cultivation. Nadeel [planting of paddy], Harvest, Onam, Boat races, and the local temple festivals are celebrated here in grandeur. This is an ideal spot for family vacation. The original farm house , 200 years old is a traditional Nair tharavadu, houses the pooja [prayer] room, dining area, and the kitchen. The living quarters are in another ,relatively new building which was constructed 70 years back .Srappakavu [places of worship of nagas] is not only a place of worship but also helps to maintain the ecological system .Ponds ,the natural swimming pools are yet an other wonder of this stay.
